The Paper Shoot camera is a little marvel

Absolutely love this highly portable, high quality, simple and stylish camera. At first I wondered if I'd use it when I have a camera on my phone, but it brings back all the romanticism we have about shooting on analogue rolls and sending them off for development, plus the photos look amazing and I'm finding myself taking it everywhere.

Perfect for social occasions and getting candid snaps - a classy revival of looking though the viewfinder, not instantly reviewing photos - you can also just leave it out on the table at dinner without looking rude. You can still take as many pics as you like as you can on your phone (thousands will fit on the SD card) and then just plugging it into your phone or computer by USB-C you can review everything and be delighted.

It may have a paper cover but it is solid as a rock and reliable.

The Paper Shoot came into its own on a recent ski trip where fully gloved and unable to fumble with a phone I was able to whip it out and quickly snap an opportunistic pic without any delay (it turns on immediately when you push the shutter button, so its just one action).

It seems so simple and feels in theory like nothing we haven't seen before - but this is just executed so well. Highly recommended.

Papershoot camera - the aesthetic of film and the experience of a disposable camera - love it

So at first I’m not going to lie I wasn’t too keen!! Seemed like they were too bad if that makes sense. But then me shooting it inside without a light isn’t great. So I try to shoot with better light and got the ring light.
I absolutely love it and take it everywhere now. I’ve been taking photos since Christmas.
It gives me exactly the same feeling of wondering what’s on there and capturing magic I love taking photos of my girls with disposables so now I’ve changed to the papershoot and they now use it to! I LOVE IT

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How long does PaperShoot Camera last?

PaperShoot camera is a digital camera, with proper use and storage, PaperShoot camera will last as long as you want it to.

Wouldn’t a camera made from paper fall apart?

Nope! Don’t be fooled by the name - the “paper” only refers to the outer casing and isn’t exactly what you’re thinking! The Paper Shoot is encased in stone paper, which is a highly durable material made from pressed limestone and biodegradable resin. It is water resistant, drop resistant, and just as durable as plastic casing; it’s just good for the planet!

How does the PaperShoot work?

The PaperShoot camera is entirely digital! It runs on 2 AAA rechargeable batteries and a standard SD card ( under 128GB ). Using the USB-C cable that comes with your camera, you can recharge your camera whenever and continually empty and reuse your SD card, it means you can take unlimited photos.

How do I take video or timelapse?

To take a video on your Paper Shoot, plug it into a portable charger,  switch to the third filter, and press the shutter button. It will take a 10-second video! To take a timelapse, repeat the same steps but switch to the fourth filter. Let your camera take photos for 30 minutes for a 10-second timelapse! You can also purchase a video/timelapse function card to eliminate the need for an external power source.

How do I access my photos?

There are a few different ways to see your photos! Since the Paper Shoot runs entirely on SD cards, you only need to plug your USB cable into your computer! Alternatively, you can purchase a Wifi SD card, which will allow you to see your photos without a cable, or you can purchase a phone-SD card reader to download Paper Shoot photos directly to your phone.

Does Paper Shoot have a flash?

While the PaperShoot does not currently have a built-in flash, we have a detachable ring light! Rather than creating a new camera with the flash upgrade, we wanted to create an option allowing any customer access to a flash for their camera.
