Effect Lens - Wide angle & Macro Lens

I fail to see the use of the macro lens without being able to see how clsoe you need to be, its very hit and miss. The wide angle lens makes more sense. But it gets 1 star for the macro lens. The macro lens itself is good quality, using it on a phone makes more sense, but functionality is limited.

Both lenses are presented in a very durable metal box - reminiscent of a brand of cough sweets from long ago - very 'retro'! The adapter ring and the lenses themselves are very well made and supplied with securely fitting front and rear lens caps. The adapter ring once fitted can be left in place and doesn't compromise the use of the camera without the lenses. The Ring of Light can also be fitted without removing the adapter. The WA lens shows signs of vignetting at the corners of the image which could easily be edited out in post-processing. If you have large hands it's VERY important to keep your fingers close to the camera body - see attached image - bottom RH corner! The CU lens requires the camera to be held VERY close to the subject and the use of the Ring of Light can be helpful in some situations. My first attempts at using both lens and light are attached - the dust on the plant leaves is nicely depicted!
